5 years ago yesterday, Trayvon Martin, a black teenager was assassinated while he was walking back home from a grocery store where he had purchased candies and iced tea. In ‘Liberty’, my new series, I’m highlighting the defining moments of Black Protest which took place both in Africa and across the world, such as the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
