Grimpoteuthis or Dumbo Octopus

As far as we know, the Dumbo Octopus resides the deepest in our seas than any other octopus at depths up to 4,000 m (or 13,100 ft) deep! It gets its name from the Disney character Dumbo due to its ear-like fins used to propel it through the water. There are few large predators in the deep sea, so these octopuses don’t have an ink sac!
